CORONA VIRUS (COVID - 19)
Update 31 March 2020 from Iain Bradley
Following guidance provided by the UK government, Mayfield Yarns has taken the decision to stop production from 0600 Saturday 4th April 2020, initially until 14th April 2020 (subject to review). We have to consider the welfare of our staff & their families so have taken this step to help them to safeguard in line with the current medical advice. We believe we will continue to see our suppliers & customers doing the same. Be assured that we will monitor the situation & resume as soon as it is practical to do so, provided that the medical advice is favourable. We apologise to any of our customers who are adversely affected by this action & will do our best to assist, where possible, to minimise any disruption & to make up ground lost during the period of closure upon our return. We wish everyone the very best in these uncertain times.
